First Pitch
Following the second straight week with no mid-week action, the UMass Lowell baseball team will host Binghamton in a three-game set at LeLacheur Park over the holiday weekend. Due to the inclement weather in the area, there have already been changes made to the schedule. Friday's doubleheader has been moved up an hour to 11 a.m.

Oh, The Weather Outside is Weather
Both of the River Hawks midweek contests were washed out last week, marking the fourth time that the River Hawks have lost a game to the weather this season.

Classic Gallagher
After his four-hit performance in the 11-8 win against UAlbany, Robert Gallagher was named the America East Co-Rookie of the Week. The infielder batted .571 on the week and recorded two RBI with four runs and three stolen bases, all coming in the win.

The Big 3-0
With his solo home run at UConn, Steven Passatempo (Medford, Mass.) become one of just three players in program history with 30 or more homers in their career. The senior currently ranks third all-time with his 30 long balls.

You Shall Not Pass

This marks the first time that the opposing team has not recorded a free pass against UMass Lowell pitchers since May 19, 2018 against Stony Brook, a run of 24 games. The River Hawk hurlers accomplished the feat twice in 2018 and six times at the Division I era.

To The Fifth Power
In the series win at UMBC, UMass Lowell outscored the Retrievers 10-0 in the fifth innings. In the first two contests, the River Hawks were up 3-2 and tied 2-2, before scoring five and four runs in the fifth inning, respectively.
