The UMass Lowell baseball team wraps up its two-state, nine-game Spring Break trip with a four-game set against Penn State, including a doubleheader on Saturday.

The River Hawks and Nittany Lions are meeting on the diamond for the first time. UMass Lowell split two games against Radford, while Penn State enters the series as winners of three of its last four. 

My Cousin Vinnie
Sophomore Vinnie Martin led UMass Lowell at the plate in the George Washington series, picking up six hits, six runs and drove in six runs. Martin also connected on two home runs and recorded five RBI in the River Hawks' 12-1 victory on March 9.

Last season, UMass Lowell played in 16 one-run games, including 10 consecutive straight from March 16-31, marking the longest stretch in the nation. The River Hawks went 8-9 in such games in 2018.
