This week marks the first ever meetings between the two schools on the diamond. The River Hawks came within one out of taking their series at George Washington but dropped the finale in extras, while Radford avoided a sweep against Harvard.

Vinnie Martin led UMass Lowell at the plate in the George Washington series, picking up six hits, six runs and drove in six runs. Martin also connected on two home runs and recorded five RBI in the River Hawks' 12-1 victory on March 9.
