LOWELL, Mass – For the second consecutive weekend, the UMass Lowell baseball team will take the diamond with a top-10 team as No. 5 North Carolina welcomes the boys in blue to Boshamer Stadium.
 
First Pitch
This weekend's series marks the third consecutive year that the River Hawks have played contests in the Tar Heel State. Over the last two seasons, UMass Lowell is 5-5 in North Carolina highlighted with wins against Wake Forest and Notre Dame.

-Cam Climo is batting .333 with eight hits, his two homers and seven RBI rank atop the conference

Last season on April 21 in the win against Maine, UMass Lowell suffered only the second no-hitter in program history, with the first came in the opening game of 1977, snapping a streak of 1,730 straight games with at least one hit. The River Hawks have a current streak of 26 games with a hit since.
 
Party of One
Last season, UMass Lowell played in 16 one-run games, including 10 consecutive straight from March 16-31, marking the longest stretch in the nation. The River Hawks went 8-9 in such games in 2018.
