LOWELL, Mass. -- The UMass Lowell women's basketball team makes the trek to Binghamton for a Wednesday night matchup, as the River Hawks enters their final three regular-season contests. 

The River Hawks snapped their eight-game losing streak with a wire-to-wire victory against UMBC on Saturday afternoon. Brianna Rudolph (Lynn, Mass.) and Ren'Cia Rolling (Lansing, Ill.) each scored 17 points in the 62-41 win, with Linda Svenne (Riga, Latvia) adding a career-high eight assists. UMass Lowell built a 23-6 lead in the second quarter and did not look back, extending the lead to 40-18 and 54-29.

A Win Would..
- Be the River Hawks first win against Binghamton since 2015

Mine Sweeper
The win against UMBC complete UMass Lowell's first series sweep over an America East opponent since the 2014-15 season. The River Hawks won both matchups over UMBC and Vermont in that campaign.

With her three assists at Vermont, Rolling took over as the program's Division I single-season assist leader. She currently has 113 helpers and is 34 assists away from setting the program's all-time single-season assist record, set in 2012-13 by Bianca Simmons (146).

A Look at the River Hawks

Idom on the Mark
In her first career start against Binghamton, Kharis Idom (Orlando, Fla.) went 8-of-13 from the field and scored a career-high 21 points. The freshman has scored 38 points over the last two games and has connected on all eight of the River Hawks' three-pointers.

Checking the Boxes
The victory in Baltimore marked the River Hawks first win over an America East team other than Vermont since 2015, and was the first conference road win for the program since 2015, as well.

Fast Start
The 22 points scored by the River Hawks in the first quarter at Stony Brook (1.5), remains the highest output in the opening 10 minutes by UMass Lowell this season.

20-20 Vision
The efforts by Brianna Rudolph and Katherine Smith at UMBC marked the first time that the team had two players score 20 or more points in a single game since December 10, 2014. Shannon Samuels and Jasmine McRoy recorded 31 and 20, respectively, in a win against Bryant.

So Offensive
In the win against UMBC, UMass Lowell set season highs with 19 second chance points and 21 rebounds on the offensive glass.

Turning Mistakes into Points
The River Hawks matched their season high with 24 points off of turnovers in the win at Massachusetts. UMass Lowell out gained the Minutewomen, 24-3, for the team's largest advantage of the season.

10 Spot
With her 10 assists against Fisher, Ren'Cia Rolling became the program' s DI single-game leader and the first player to reach double digit assists in a game since 2012.

Helping Each Other Out
The 25 team assists by UMass Lowell set a new Division I team high and is the most by a River Hawk team since 2016.

Stealing a Spot in the Records
With her six steals against Bryant, Brianna Rudolph now holds the Division I single-game mark. She now sits sixth in DI career history with 52 swipes.

Stealers and Helpers
The River Hawks have recorded 10+ steals and assists in four contests in 2018-19, a feat the team achieved four times in 2017-18.

Speeding Up the Fast Break
In the first 26 games of the season, UMass Lowell has already surpassed the team's total fast break output from last year, scoring 144 points on the break. In 2017-18 the River Hawks scored 97 and averaged 3.2 points per game.
