Tom Garrick. "We showed a lot of inexperience, and as a young team we need time to grow but we will get there. Like I told the ladies in the locker room, you can learn from good experiences and bad experiences and I'm confident that we will grow and get better from this."

Idom began the second quarter with her first three of the season as UMass Lowell began to chip into the deficit. Sanchez scored six points in the final 2:42 of the half to lead the team with eight points at the break, with Rolling adding six. The Eagles connected on a three at the buzzer to go into the locker room holding a 38-20 buffer.
Boston College had three players reach double-figures, led by Emma Guy's double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
The River Hawks continue their road swing to begin the year with a Sunday afternoon tilt at Colgate. Tip is scheduled for 2 p.m.
