BOSTON, Mass. – On the heels of being named the league's 2019 Fans' Choice Player of the Year, UMass Lowell freshman Sofie Knook also garnered an America East Rookie of the Week selection for the final week of the regular season.
 
This marked Knook's fourth Rookie of the Week nod this season, the most of any newcomer in the conference.
 
The back tallied an assist in each of the River Hawks' final two games last week. She first dished a long pass to sophomore Jenna Berger (Waterloo, Ontario) to put the squad on the board against Massachusetts on October 25. She then closed out the season with a helper on a goal by sophomore Lindsey Kilpatrick (Manlius, N.Y.) at UAlbany on Novemer 3.
 
Knook led the River Hawks with seven goals and 17 total points in 2019.
