LOWELL, Mass. -- Heading into his second season at the helm of the UMass Lowell women's basketball program, Tom Garrick is surrounded by new faces as his first full recruiting class enters the fold as River Hawks.
 
The eight newcomers, along with the five veteran returners, look to build off the team's 2018-19 campaign which saw the River Hawks win their most games since the 2014-15 season.
 
"We're really excited about the crop of ladies we brought in," commented Garrick. "I'm happy with what we were able to do recruitment wise to this point, and pleased with the way that they have integrated themselves in with the returners."
