River Hawks Resume Non-Conference Action, Host Harvard on Tuesday

LOWELL, Mass. –
 In the midst of the program's second longest winning streak in its Division I history, the UMass Lowell men's soccer team returns to Cushing Field for a non-league matchup against Harvard 
on Tuesday night.

Alejandro Osorio (Hollywood, Fla.) tallied his first goal of the season in the 31st minute to push the River Hawks to the 1-0 win at Binghamton to pick up the fifth straight win for the team. Patrik Gujic (Bjelovar, Croatia) made five stops for his fourth consecutive clean sheet. 

RIVER HAWK LEADERS
Stanley Alves (Minas Gerais, Brazil) paces the lineup with his three goals and eight points, and is one of four players with two or more assists. Roko Prsa (Sisak, Croatia) has scored a pair as well, while Renato Kauzlaric (Zagreb, Croatia) has helped the offense with his four helpers. Between the pipes, Patrik Gujic has 18 saves and an 1.07 GAA.

KING OF THE NET
With his shutout at Binghamton, Patrik Gujic is now UMass Lowell' all-time leader with 392:20 consecutive shutout minutes. The sophomore surpassed Bobby Ritter's 15-year old mark of 380:08, and the pair are tied with four straight blank sheets as well.
 
SCOUTING HARVARD

- The Crimson are still looking for its first win of 2019, sitting at 0-5-1
- Duncan Sutherland and Alfred Perez have combined for four of Harvard's six goals
- Sutherland has added one helper to pace the lineup with five points
- Three different goalies have seen time, with Oksar Nilsson posting a 2.17 GAA and 25 saves
- The River Hawks lead the all-time series, 2-0-0

HOME, SWEET HOME
Over the last 30 games at Cushing Field, the hosts are 23-3-4 dating back to 2016, including a 1-1 mark in the postseason.The River Hawks are 32-10-5 in the Mill City since 2014.

FIRST GOAL WINS
The River Hawks are 39-1-4 since September 13, 2015 when scoring first. The lone setback came during the 2018 season, a 2-1 loss to Holy Cross. 

I LIKE MY SHEETS CLEAN
The River Hawks have not allowed a goal since the 78th minute against Boston University on September 14, a streak of 392:20. Last season, UMass Lowell set a new program mark with 403:33 consecutive shutout minutes. 

ROAD WARRIORS
The River Hawks are 4-1 so far this season away from Lowell, including four straight victories.

AGAINST THE CONFERENCE AT CUSHING
Since the end of the 2015 season, UMass Lowell is 13-1-1 against America East opponents at Cushing Field. The lone loss came against UAlbany in the 2017 Championship game, and the River Hawks won all five of such games since.

ROLLING WITH RENATO
Renato Kauzlaric paces the conference with four assists. The sophomore has dished out six helpers in his young career with the River Hawks.

ROKO MEANS CLUTCH
Roko Prsa is tied for second in the league with two game-winning goals so far in 2019, and has recorded five in his UMass Lowell career.

HAWK THE VOTE
UMass Lowell has been ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 poll for 22 weeks since 2016.

NOTABLES
Mario Mora Perez (Liberia, Costa Rica) scored his first career goal at Massachusetts (9.21) ... Denis Petro (Michalovce, Slovakia) recorded his first collegiate point against Quinnipiac (9.2)and scored his goal at Merrimack (9.17) ... six players have made their UMass Lowell debuts in the first three contests of the season.
