LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell women's soccer team (4-9-2, 3-3-1 AE) will hit the road for their last regular season matchup of 2019 as they take on New Hampshire (8-7-0, 4-3-0 AE) under the lights of Wildcat Stadium at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

LET'S REWIND…
The River Hawks competed in their last regular home game of the season when they hosted Binghamton on Sunday afternoon. Battling through wind and rainy conditions, the River Hawks were unable to come out with a win after the Bearcats scored an early first half goal.
Â
After a free kick was awarded to the Bearcats in the 22nd minute, Erin Theiller rebounded the blocked shot and sent a cross pass to teammate Sarah Dibble who pushed the ball into the bottom of the net.
Â
A last-ditch effort for the River Hawks came in the 89th minute when redshirt junior
Courtney Coleman (Antioch, Ill.) rocked a shot from 20 yards out, only to slip just above the crossbar, ending the game at 1-0.
SCOUTING NEW HAMPSHIRE
Coming off a 2-0 road loss to Stony Brook, the UNH women's soccer team sits at fourth in the conference with an 8-7-0 overall record and 4-3-0 in America East. Ally Reynolds leads the Wildcats in points this season with 17, and a team-high in goals (seven) and assists (three), notching five of UNH's last seven goals.
Â
The all-time series between the River Hawks and Wildcats sits at 1-3-2, with the last two matchups ending in a full 110 minutes of play and a 0-0 draw.

25 YEARS STRONG
This season the team would like your help in celebrating 25 years of River Hawk Women's soccer. The goal is to have 125 donors, which marks the 125th year anniversary of the University, donate $25 dollars to celebrate the 25th season of women's soccer.
Â
In the past, funds have been used for locker room renovations, enhancing the high-performance environment, and securing a more challenging out of conference schedule. The squad is at this point in history because of the previous 24 teams that have paved the way, and as they continue to build the program, they need your help! BUILDING ON A HISTORIC SEASON
The team secured their first-ever bid to the America East Tournament, making their way as far as the championship game. After a stand-out 2018 season by the 11-member freshman class, tallying 17 goals and 44 points, it's no wonder three of them garnered America-East All-Rookie team nominations.
Â
Sophomores
Emily Nelson (Peabody, Mass.),
Dunja Mostarac (Belgrade, Serbia) and
Kristina Bartsch (Pulheim, Germany), continue to strive in the 2019 season, with Bartsch tallying 15 shots and Mostarac recording one goal and six shots over the 15 games.
Â
NELSON NETS IT AGAIN
After scoring her sixth goal of the season in the contest against UAlbany, Nelson currently sits at third in the America East conference standings with a .429 average. She continues her scoring streak from last year, increasing her career total to 13 goals and three assists for a total of 29 points.
Â
EXTRA EXTRA
The River Hawks have competed in 15 contests this year with half of them ending in overtime minutes. Repeating the 2018 season, the squad has now brought several different teams into overtime for an average of 96 minutes per game.
Â
FRESH FACES
The Freshman class continues to make strides with all eight of them recording shots over the past 15 games.
Cristina Blaya (Madrid, Spain.) has recorded two assists and six shots on goal along with classmate
Anna Edson (Beverly, Mass.) who has also notched two assists and three shots on goal.
Â
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Freshman forward
Stephanie Kemp (Mansfield, Mass.) earned the America East Rookie of the Week honor for her efforts in the 4-1 victory over UMBC on October 6.
Â
Not only did the freshman record her first career goal as a River Hawk, but she went on to total two more goals giving her a hat trick in the win. With the stellar three-goal performance Kemp is now second on the team in goals (3) and points (6).
