LOWELL, Mass. – Zach Leach will join the UMass Lowell Compliance office, after being appointed the Director of NCAA Compliance, as announced by the UMass Lowell athletics department.
"I am very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of UMass Lowell Athletics and very excited for the future of the River Hawks' program," remarked Leach. "As a graduate of two of New England's biggest athletic institutions, I feel fortunate to have joined yet another. As someone who grew up in and has worked and lived in Massachusetts for most of my life, I feel as though Lowell was the perfect fit to launch my career in college athletics."
Leach has spent time in the compliance offices at Holy Cross and New Hampshire prior to coming to Lowell. He is currently a Salary Arbitration Consultant for the Boston Bruins and a writer for ProHockeyRumors.com, as well.

A 2014 graduate from Massachusetts with a bachelor of science in sport management, Leach earned a Juris Doctor degree with sport law and entertainment law certificates in 2018 from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law.
While at New Hampshire, Leach had two works published in the Marquette Sports Law Review (December, 2018) and The Concord Monitor (July, 2016).
Leach resides in Ayer, Mass. with his wife, Meredith.
