LOWELL, Mass. -- Following its first America East road win since 2015, the UMass Lowell women's basketball team heads to New York for a contest against the UAlbany Great Danes on Wednesday night.Â

Katherine Smith (20 points), the River Hawks knocked off UMBC, 67-55, on Saturday afternoon. UMass Lowell outscored the Retrievers, 20-13, in the third to take control and never trailed by less than five in the final quarter.

With her 92 helpers, Rolling is 55 assists away from setting the program's all-time single-season assist record, set in 2012-13 by Bianca Simmons (146). In her first season as a River Hawk, Rolling is already fourth all-time in the DI era for assists in a season.
Checking the Boxes
The victory in Baltimore marked the River Hawks first win over an America East team other than Vermont since 2015, and was the first conference road win for the program since 2015, as well.
20-20 Vision
The efforts by Rudolph and Smith marked the first time that the team had two players score 20 or more points in a single game since December 10, 2014.

Speeding Up the Fast Break
