LOWELL, Mass. -- The UMass Lowell women's basketball team wraps up the regular season in what will be the first of two meetings against UMBC in three days, as the Retrievers come to Lowell for Sunday's matinee.

With three of the seeds in the upcoming America East Tournament finalized, the River Hawks and Retrievers will meet in three days, on February 28th, for the first round in Baltimore. Tip is set for 6 p.m.
A Look Back
For the second time this season, the River Hawks held a halftime lead against New Hampshire, but saw the Wildcats pull away in the second half for the win. Trailing 28-23, UNH scored 47 points in the final 20 minutes to leave Lowell with the victory.
Kayla Gibbs (Teaneck, N.J.) scored 15 points, on Senior Night, to move into a tie for seventh all-time with 1,186 points, while
Megan Hendrick (Alexadria, Va.) added 12 as well.

Lindsey Doucette, in program history with 1,000 career points and 750 career boards. She currently sits at 1,186 and 784, respectively.

For the third time in Division I, every River Hawk player that entered the Cornell contest scored. The previous two times for UMass Lowell happened against Longwood in 2016-17 and Holy Cross in 2015-16. The River Hawks are 1-2 in these meetings.
