SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS: UMass Lowell owns a 1-1 record so far this season, coming off a 10-9 loss at Harvard last Saturday afternoon. Jon Phillips tallied four points and a hat trick in the loss for the River Hawks. UMass Lowell scored seven of its goals in the second half against the Crimson. The River Hawks went 2-for-3 on man up goals. Austin Lane (Aurora, Ont.) had a game-high 10 shots. 

UMass Lowell rank second in America East with 24.5 shots on goal and they also lead the conference in man up percentage at 66.7% (4-6). Senior attackman Sean Tyrrell's (Calgary, Alta.) 4.0 points per game is tied for third among America East players. 

SCOUTING THE SAINTS: Siena was victorious in its season opener on February 17 vs. Hobart. The Saints got hat tricks from Mike Reilly, Chris Robertson and Keenan Cook in the win. Anthony Tebbato totaled 17 saves in the contest for Siena.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. SIENA: UMass Lowell owns a 1-2 record vs. Siena in the all-time series. The River Hawks defeated Siena, 18-13 at Cushing Field Complex on February 25, 2017. Jon Phillips notched three goals in the win for UMass Lowell, while Grant Lardieri (Ada, Mich.) totaled a career-high and school record 19 saves in the victory. 

THOUGHTS FROM Jon Phillips: "We are coming off a tough loss last week at Harvard, so we are just working on playing our game, back to fighting hard for ground balls and doing anything we can to get a win at Siena. "We have a heavy senior class and we are prepared for these road games. We have been doing it four four years now, we just need to play our game and hope for the best. We are going to play our game, but I know they are coming off a big win, they are a tough team to play against, especially at home, so we are going to have to play hard."
