Christian Lutete (Silver Spring, Md.) has earned his second straight America East Co-Player of the Week nod, as announced by the league office on Monday.
The guard helped lead the River Hawks to a come-from-behind, 100-91 overtime victory at Sacred Heart to close out non-conference play on December 29. He paced the squad in that decision with 29 points and nine rebounds.
In that outing, he shot a season best 83.3 percent (10-12) from the field. He added one assist, steal and block, as well.
This week, Lutete shares the title with Stony Brook's Andrew Garcia, who had a career-high 24 points and added six rebounds in a win against Northern Iowa.
So far this season, Lutete paces the River Hawks with 17.4 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.
