LOWELL, Mass. – For the second consecutive season, the UMass Lowell men's soccer team will host an America East postseason game as the No. 3 River Hawks welcome the No. 6 UAlbany Great Danes to Cushing Field for the second time this season. 

To clinch a top-three seed the River Hawks defeated Hartford, 1-0, on Senior Night and waited for results after the final whistle in Lowell. Ivan Abramovic (Zagreb, Croatia) sealed the win with his penalty kick goal in the 78th minute. 

Tickets will be cash only and are $8 for adults, $5 for children ($14 and under), and $2 for any America East student-athletes (with valid ID). 

STUDENTS ENTER FREE
The $2 entry fee to the UMass Lowell vs. UAlbany matchup has been waived for all UMass Lowell students. The free admission for students has been sponsored by the Office of Student Affairs.

HOME, SWEET HOME
Over the last 25 games at Cushing Field, the hosts are 20-2-3 dating back to 2016, including a 1-1 mark in the postseason.The River Hawks are 29-9-4 in the Mill City since 2014.

REMATCH, PART DEUX
With the Great Danes needing a win in the final game of the season to clinch the final spot in the tournament, the two teams will meet for the second time since meeting in last season's title game. On October 20, the River Hawks knocked off UAlbany, 2-0. 

RIVER HAWK LEADERS
Stanley Alves (Minas Gerais, Brazil) enters the postseason pacing the offense (5g, 2a), with a total of 12 points. Roko Prsa (Zagreb, Croatia) trails Alves by one point (4g, 3a) and paces the offense in helpers. Alves and Prsa have combined for six of UMass Lowell's nine game-winning goals. Between the pipes, Zach Rowell (Haverhill, Mass.) is 8-1-2 with 22 saves and a 0.37 GAA, in addition to six shutouts, while Patrik Gujic (Bjelovar, Croatia) has a team-high 24 saves.
 
SOARING IN THE NATION
- Rowell leads all of Division I with a 0.37 GAA to lead the America East with six shutouts as well
- Alves' four game-winning goals sit tied for 20th and is tied atop the conference

SCOUTING UALBANY
- The final seed in the AE Championship sits at 8-9-0, 3-4-0
- UAlbany is 3-7 on the road, including a 0-3 mark in conference play
- Nico Solabarrieta paces the offense and conference with 10 goals and 25 points
- Daniel Krutzen leads the AE with his nine assists
- In net, Danny Vitiello has allowed 22 goals for a 1.26 GAA, with 54 saves and three shutouts
- The Great Danes lead the all-time series, 8-3

FIRST GOAL
The Senior Night victory win improved the River Hawks to 32-1-3 since September 13, 2015 when UMass Lowell scores first.

Stanford's lone goal snapped UMass Lowell's program record consecutive shutout minutes mark at 403:33.

Before the season, Basic was named as one of 32 players on the MAC Hermann Trophy Watchlist. The MAC Hermann in college soccer's most prestigious individual award.

Kauzlaric and Gujic were named AE Rookie and Defensive Player of the Week (9.24) ... coming off his first career shutout, Rowell was named the America East Defensive Player of the Week (8.20).
