Kristin Birgisdottir (Mofsfellsbaer, Iceland) was taken down inside the box against Sacred Heart and was awarded a penalty kick. Junior captain
Rachel Morrier (Plaistow, N.H.) capitalized on the penalty to put the home team ahead 1-0. Schneider record her third shutout of the season and 10th shutout of her career to secure the victory on a cold and wet Sunday afternoon (9/3).

From the Start
Since the start of the season, the River Hawks' defense has been stout, not allowing a goal in the first half in all five of their games. The five games without a first-half goal is their longest since joining Division I.

Scouting St. Bonaventure (0-5-0)
The Bonnies are coming off a 3-0 loss at Wright State last Thursday. Lauren Malcolm stopped seven shots in the loss. Malcom enters the game with a 2.45 goals-against average, 34 saves and a .739 save percentage. Marley Jarvis has scored the lone goal for St. Bonaventure.
