LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell women's soccer team gears up for two Big East foes this week, starting with a 6:00 p.m. kickoff against Seton Hall on Thursday, Sept. 14. The squad then travels to Providence on Sunday, Sept. 17 for a 7:00 p.m. start.

In their lone game of the week, the River Hawks tied St. Bonaventure, 0-0, on Sept. 7, marking the third time this season the squad has played to a scoreless draw. Junior goalie

Schneider continues to be dominate in goal, carrying a 0.29 goals-against average, 37 saves, and a .949 save percentage. The Bridgewater, Mass. native has recorded four shutouts in 2017 and is averaging 6.17 saves per game.

Scouting Seton Hall (0-4-2)
The Pirates are coming off a 1-1 draw against Duquesne on Sunday, in which Atley Fortney scored her first goal of the season. Anna MacLean made 11 saves in the contest, including four in extra time. MacLean carries a .727 save percentage, a 1.39 goals-against average, and 24 saves into Thursday's duel. Four Pirates have scored a goal on the season, while two have made an assist.

Scouting Providence (3-4-0)
The Friars are coming off a 4-3 come-from-behind win over Arkansas on Sunday (9/10). Four different players scored in the win, while Shelby Hogan stopped 10 shots in a winning effort. Julian Pellegrini leads the teams in goals with two, while Katie Day leads the Friars with two assists. Hogan enters the matchup with a .784 save percentage, a 1.57 goals-against average, and 40 saves on the season.
