NEWARK, N.J. – The UMass Lowell Men's Lacrosse team was victorious in the season finale at NJIT, 12-5 at Mal Simon Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The River Hawks finish their third Div. I season with a 4-12 overall record, while NJIT ends its campaign at 1-14 overall. UMass Lowell's four wins this season ties a Div. I record, which they previously set in 2016. Â

Junior midfielder
Keenan Koswin (Winnipeg, Man.) recorded a game-high four points (2g,2a), while junior attackman
Sean Tyrrell (Calgary, Alta.) totaled three points (1g,2a) in the victory. 10 different players scored goals for the River Hawks.
UMass Lowell owned a 7-1 lead at halftime.
The River Hawks owned a 47-20 advantage in shots and an 11-4 edge in caused turnovers. UMass Lowell also finished the game with a 40-30 advantage in ground balls.
Sophomore
Grant Lardieri (Ada, Mich.) tallied eight saves in his 16
th straight start. NJIT's Nick Marzullo recorded 21 saves in the losing effort.
The game marked the last collegiate contests for
Chris Litchfield (Burlington, Mass.),
Giles Ober (Southborough, Mass.),
Nicholas Pino (North Andover, Mass.) and
Martin Winter (Lake Oswego, Ore.). Litchfield and Pino scored in their collegiate finale.
