The River Hawks lead all America East teams averaging 37.25 groundballs per contest.

SCOUTING THE JASPERS: Manhattan enters the matchup with a 2-4 overall record, which includes a 12-9 loss at Delaware on Tuesday. The Jaspers own a 1-3 home record so far this season. Both of the Jaspers' victories this season have come in overtime by scores of 14-13, which included a three overtime game vs. Wagner on Feb. 11th and a double overtime effor at Hartford on Feb. 28th. Parker Giarratana leads the team with 22 points and 16 goals.

JON PHILLIPS NAMED TRI-CAPTAIN: Head Coach Ed Stephenson named Jon Phillips a tri-captain for the remainder of the season on Monday, along with Will Puduski and Sean Tyrrell. Phillips had served as a game captain for the past four games.

ED STEPHENSON ON THIS WEEK: "I think we are still trying to concentrate on ourselves, trying to get the fundamentals down and do the things we need to do to be successful. I think each week we have gotten better, but still coming up on the short end in a couple of close games."
