LOWELL, Mass. -- The UMass Lowell women's basketball team play its second to last home game of the season and are back at the Tsongas Center, welcoming the Hartford Hawk for the River Hawks' You Can Play Game.

A Win Would...
-End the Hawks' three-game streak in all-time series
-Snap UMass Lowell's 12-game skid

Last Time Out
Ahead by only eight with 5:02 left in the first half, Maine pulled away to take a 45-23 lead into the intermission and took control of the contest. Katherine Smith (Fort Wayne, Ind.) scored a career-high 13 points, and Kayla Gibbs (Teaneck, N.J.) tallied 13, as well. Markayla Sherman (Cincinnati, Ohio) rounded out the trio with 11 points, while Megan Hendrick (Alexandria, Va.) came one point shy of her first double-double, ending with career-high 10 rebounds.

Leading the Flock
After seeing her scoring streak ended, Kayla Gibbs leads the team with 12.6 points, and is snagging a team-high 8.4 boards per game, with 63 assists through 25 games this season. Tyshay Britten (Norristown, Pa.) has a team-high 15 blocks and Nicole Hayner (Bedford, N.H.) is connecting on 34.9 on her three-point attempts. UMass Lowell is shooting at a 39.7 percent clip from the field, and connecting on 28.6 percent from beyond the arc.

Scouting Hartford
The Hawks are riding a four-game skid following their 64-47 loss at UMBC on February 10. Sierra DaCosta leads the team with 13.1 points per game, trailed closely by Deanna Mayza's 13.0 ppg. Lindsey Abed is adding 11.4 points in support, while Mayza is adding 122 assists. On the glass, Janelle Harrison is grabbing 5.0 rebounds per game. As a unit, Hartford is shooting 39.8 percent from the field and connecting on a 35.5 percent clip from three-point range.

Streaking Til 19
Kayla Gibbs saw her double figure scoring streak snapped at 19 games, setting a DI program high mark. Last season, Lindsey Doucette accomplished the feat in 16 straight contests.

Party of Five
In the loss at UMBC, the River Hawks had five or more players in double figures for the first time all season. It was only the second time in Division I UMass Lowell accomplished the feat, and first time since 2014 against Mt. Ida.

Conference Board Meeting
Through the first 12 games of conference play, Kayla Gibbs ranks atop the America East in all three rebounding categories. The junior is grabbing 9.9 boards per game, leading the conference with 3.1 offensive boards per game and 6.8 defensive. Gibbs' 18-rebound performance against Binghamton is the best single-game mark in the conference this season.

50 Times 6
For only the sixth time in the Division I era, the River Hawks grabbed over 50 rebounds, snagging 51 in the loss against Binghamton. The single-game high since 2013 is 57, set on January 18, 2015.

Do You Even Bench?
Through 25 games, the River Hawks' reserves have scored 400 points and have outscored the opponents' bench eight times, with a season-high 29 against Keene State. Last season the River Hawks' bench scored 341 points, and outscored opponents 12 times.

Starting Fresh
The River Hawks have used eight different starting lineups through 25 games this season.
