LOWELL, Mass. -- Single game tickets for the River Hawks 50^th Anniversary Hockey season are on sale now at the Tsongas Center Box Office. Tickets to UMass Lowell's 18 home games are available for purchase online at www.GoRiverHawks.com/buytickets, by phone at 866-722-8780 or in person at the Tsongas Center Box Office, Monday through Friday from 10am to 5pm. Group discounts for as low as $7 per ticket are also available and can be purchased by contacting GroupSales@uml.edu.

To celebrate 50 years of hockey for the program, a number of exciting promotions and giveaways based around the program's tradition. The highlight of the season is certain to be the "All-Era" Collector's Edition Pint Glass Series, a series of five pint glasses revealing the fan's choice for all-era teams throughout the program's history. At five games during the season the first 1,000 fans will receive a collector's edition glass, courtesy of Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union.

In addition the team will unveil new third jerseys, a throwback style as part of the 50 years celebration, during their Friday, December 9 home game against Merrimack. Fans will have a chance to get their own replica jersey courtesy of DCU, when the first 1,000 fans will receive a replica of the new third jerseys Friday, February 10 when the River Hawks take on Boston University. BUY TICKETS

A number of fan favorite promotions will return as well, including the annual "Break the Record" rally at the home opener against Minnesota-Duluth on Friday, October 9, where the students are tasked with breaking the student attendance record of 2,365.

In addition, Star Wars Night, featuring appearances from the popular 501^st Rebel Legion, is set for Saturday, February 4 against New Hampshire, Pucks and Paws will take place Sunday, November 13 against Maine and Youth Hockey Night February 11 against Massachusetts highlight the schedule.

"We are thrilled to bring a number of returning fan favorite promotions to the schedule, while also featuring a number of great giveaways to celebrate the great tradition of hockey the program has," said Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Promotions Jon Boswell. "We look forward to fans enjoying all a River Hawks game has to offer."

River Hawk Homecoming Weekend, October 21-22, features a double header of non-conference action as the River Hawks take on St. Lawrence on Friday and Clarkson on Saturday. To check out all the events that will be happening on campus Homecoming weekend you can visit www.uml.edu/homecoming.
