LOWELL, Mass. –
The UMass Lowell women's soccer team will wrap up its three-game road stint this week. The River Hawks travel to Quinnipiac on Tuesday, August 23 for a 4 p.m. tilt, before quarreling with Stetson on Friday, August 26 for a 7 p.m. contest.

Looking at UMass Lowell
UMass Lowell (0-0-1) is looking to pick up its first win of 2016, after fighting to a 1-1 double over time draw last week in the squad's season opener at Rhode Island on Aug. 19. Senior forward Taylor Chianese (Chepachet, R.I.) tallied the team's lone goal of the match. Junior midfielder Rachel Morrier (Plaistow, N.H.) picked up the helper, while sophomore goalkeeper Julia Schneider (Bridgewater, Mass.) recorded a career-high 11 saves in the outing.

Scouting Quinnipiac
The Bobcats own a 1-0-0 record after opening up their season with a 2-1 win against Toledo on Aug. 19. Forward Al Pelletier leads Quinnipiac with three points, after tacking on a goal and assist in the squad's most recent match. Goalkeeper Olivia Myszewski is posting a 1.00 goals against average and seven saves so far this season.

Scouting Stetson
The Hatters are coming into Friday's contest 0-1-1, after opening week. Stetson opened the season with a 1-1 tie against Florida International on Aug. 19, before being blanked, 3-0, against Miami on Aug 21. Forward Sarah Collins headlines the team with two points, while time in net has been split between Emily Plotz and Kahri Smith, who have posted three and six saves, respectively.

Series History
Tuesday's contest against Quinnipiac will be just the second ever meeting between the two squads, as UMass Lowell holds the 1-0 edge in the all-all time series after defeating the Bobcats, 3-1, in 2015. Friday's tilt will mark the first ever meeting between UMass Lowell and Stetson.
