Former UMass Lowell Hockey defenseman Tommy Powers was featured as the Circle Health Alumni Spotlight in the latest United In Blue Fund Quarterly E-Newsletter.

Tommy Powers grew up playing roller hockey in Florida and dreaming of making it to the National Hockey League. The former UMass Lowell hockey player found that dreams can come true. The exercise physiology major made it, but not as a player. He is now the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the NHL's Florida Panthers.
