SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS: UMass Lowell wraps up its second season in program history this Saturday when they host NJIT. 2016 has been a year of progress for the River Hawks. The team has picked up multiple wins, and broke the 100-goal mark, scoring 126 going into the finale, versus 95 goals total last year. The sophomore class has shown what a year of experience can do; three of the River Hawks top four goal scorers come from the class of 2018. With three points on Saturday,
Sean Tyrrell (Calgary, Alba.) would be the first River Hawks to rack up 40 points on a season. Meanwhile,
Keenan Koswin (Winnipeg, Manitoba) would become the second player to get to 30 points with four on Saturday.
