Special Ticket Price for Saturday's Game to Honor TB12

$12 Ticket, Patriots Watch Party & $2 Tailgate Menu Precede Puck Drop

LOWELL, MASS. - UMass Lowell hockey announced Tuesday a special ticket offer, pre-game tailgate party and $2 menu items from 4:30-6pm for fans coming early to enjoy the Patriots game on the video board and TVs throughout the rink prior to puck drop.

"We recognize fans are excited to support the Patriots in the playoffs and we are pleased to be able to open the Tsongas Center early for fans to watch the game prior to the River Hawks game," said Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Promotions Jon Boswell. "Between the tailgate specials offered by Aramark and the setting of being able to watch in the Sage Bank Pavilion with other fans or on the center ice video board makes it a bit more exciting.

The special tailgate menu will be available from 4:30, when doors open, until 6 when the gates would traditionally open. Fans will be able to enjoy hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels, nachos and soda for just $2, with hamburgers for $3. The Sage Bank Pavilion will be open for all fans and the east stairwell will give fans access to the seating bowl.

In honor of this special day, fans will be able to purchase tickets for just $12 using promo code TB12. The special offer is available through Thursday, January 14 and is available online, by phone and in-person at the Box Office.

We hope fans will be able to come out, see a Patriots win and then watch as the River Hawks take on the Massachusetts Minutemen. It is "Skating Strides Against Breast Cancer" night at the rink as well as Military Appreciation Night with a number of activities planned throughout the night.

Coach Norm Bazin's River Hawks are coming off a 1-0 win over UNH last weekend and are currently ranked 11th in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Men's College Hockey Poll with a 12-4-4 record. Puck drop is at 7pm.
