SENIOR DAY: The River Hawks eight member senior class will be recognized on Sunday in their final home conference game against the Seawolves. Winding down their careers in Lowell is

YOUTH DAY: There will be free admission for all youth baseball teams and families who wish to attend and all youth baseball leagues are welcomed to join! Gameday activities will include an on field parade prior to the national anthem, free ice cream for the first 100 players/parents, a 2015 team poster giveaway, baseball bingo and other in-game promotions & raffles.

Click here for more informationAE CROWN SCENARIO: The River Hawks must sweep the series to move into a first place tie with the Seawolves in the standings. The teams fate will lie in next weekend's series between Stony Brook and Binghamton.
LAST TIME OUT: Behind a strong team effort, UMass Lowell took two out of three games from UAlbany over the weekend. The River Hawks took care of game one and three by scores of 11-4 and 5-0, respectively. The Great Danes salvaged game two with a 12-2 decision.
MAKING A STAND: For the second straight year, the River Hawks will finish in the top three in the America East standings. Last year in the program's first season in the conference, and Division I, UMass Lowell finished third at 10-10 and 20-22 overall.
THE SANCHIZE: Senior third baseman 
Matthew Sanchez (Sunrise, Fla.) is coming off a hot week in which he was named River Hawk of the Week. He batted .571 (8-14), scoring four runs and knocking in one. Sanchez also swiped four bases to take over the team lead in stolen bases with 18.
Along with leading the team in stolen bases, he is tied for the team lead with a .336 average, and leads the squad in runs (23), hits (45), triples (3), total bases (59), walks (20), slugging percentage and on base percentage (.440).
SERIES AGAINST STONY BROOK: The River Hawks and Stony Brook have split six games played. Last season, UMass Lowell took the last two games (2-1, 3-1), after dropping game one 9-2. Earlier this season the Seawolves took two out of three against the River Hawks (1-10, 1-2, 6-3).
THE FINAL COUNTDOWN: Following the weekend series UMass Lowell will have four consecutive home games remaining on the schedule to end the season. The River Hawks end their non-conference slate with a mid-week game against Northeastern, followed by a visit from LIU Brooklyn on Thursday and Friday.Â
