SCOUTING STONY BROOKThe Seawolves sit in a second place tie in the America East standings at 10-4 and 19-10 overall. Jameel Warney leads the offense with 15.6 points per game. His 11.2 rebounds per game rank fifth in the nation. He also totals 18 double doubles, good for a first-place tie nationally. Carson Puriefoy is averaging 14 points per game, as well, with a team-high 3.6 assists per game. As a whole, Stony Brook is shooting 42% (694-1652) from the field and 32.8% (150-458) from three-point range.
ROOKIE RECORDAs of February 20, UMass Lowell was one of only four teams in the nation to have two freshmen as their top two scorers. The River Hawks are joined by the University of Central Florida, Binghamton and Fordham.

SUPERIOR SUBSAt UMBC on Jan. 7, UMass Lowell's bench players outscored the Retrievers', 51-1, to help the team come back to earn the overtime victory. The River Hawks' reserves have been pivotal this year, outscoring their opponents, 621-483.

Marco Banegas-Flores, who posted a career-high four steals at Rhode Island and Vermont, is third in the league with 1.9 per game and leads the team with 49 total.
