Marielle Handley (Durham, Conn.) and chased her after two innings. Handley's record dips to 5-16 on the season, while she failed to pick up a strikeout for just the third time in her 30 appearances.

Lauren Ramirez (Dracut, Mass.) didn't fare much better, surrendering four runs in the third inning as Charlise Castro hit a solo shot before Tate knocked a three-run homerun out.
