Jasmine McRoy's (Gaithersburg, Md.) double-double lead the River Hawks to a 74-39 non-conference win over Mount Ida at the Costello Athletic Center, Monday night in Lowell, Mass. Â

McRoy followed up her career-high 22 point performance on Saturday with 11 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Sophomore
Lindsey Doucette (Hopkinton, Mass.) contributed with a game-high 14 points, her fourth straight game in double figures. Doucette also had five steals on the night.

The River Hawks started the game on a 10-0 run and never looked back. UMass Lowell had 11 different players score and three in double figures.

The third member of the River Hawks in double figures was sophomore
Melissa Frase (Tamworth, N.H.) who scored 10 points and dished out five assists. Â

UMass Lowell improves to 2-12 and 1-2 in America East, while Mount Ida falls to 3-10. On Thursday night the River Hawks will entertain the top-seeded Albany Great Danes at 7:00. The Mustangs will next play a week from tonight at Norwich.

The River Hawks shot .385 from the floor (30-78), including .463 in the first half. The Mustangs struggled from the floor shooting .315 (17-54).

For the ninth time this season UMass Lowell forced more turnovers than they committed. They forced 26 turnovers and had 19 steals, while committing only 19 turnovers.
Mustang's senior Abbey Fedigan had a team-high 13 points, along with five rebounds in 38 minutes of play. Freshman Angelique Martinez had nine rebounds and six assists.Â
