With the win, UMass Lowell improved to 5-1 and meets Millersville (12:30) and Kutztown (2:30) Saturday. Lock Haven slipped to 3-3 and meets Georgian Court (8:30) and Winona State (12:30) Saturday.

Boris scattered three hits, three walks and an unearned run while striking out one to improve to 4-0. She also batted 1 for 4 with a solo home run, her third this season.

Daniels and Guy then hit back-to-back home runs for a 5-1 cushion.
