UMass Lowell junior Andrew Fecteau (Newbury, Mass.) and graduate Patrick Bean ('11, Fitchburg, Mass.) enter the second round of the Massachusetts Open Tuesday morning at Oak Hill Country Club in Fitchburg, Mass.

Fecteau, who shot a seven-over 77 for Monday's first round, is expected to tee off at 7:30 while Bean, who carded a six-over 76, will go at 8:15.

Bean currently sits in a tie for 100th place in the 150-player field while Fecteau is currently tied for 131st.

Fecteau qualified on May 31 at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Sutton, Mass. when he shot a 76 to place in a tie for 12th in a field of 71 hopefuls. Bean qualified on May 16 when he shot a 76 at New Bedford Country Club (tied for ninth among 36), highlighted by a birdie in the first hole of the tiebreaker.
