The UMass Lowell women's soccer team, fresh off victories over Southern New Hampshire (5-1) last Saturday and American International College (1-0) prior, visits Franklin Pierce today at 4 p.m. in Rindge, N.H.

The River Hawks (3-4-1, 3-3-0 in the NE-10), on a week's rest, currently sit in a tie for sixth place but could gain significant ground in the standings with a win today.

Franklin Pierce (6-1-1, 4-1-1 NE-10) is also fresh off two straight wins, having defeated Bentley (1-0) away and Assumption (5-1) at home.

UMass Lowell hosts Saint Michael's Tuesday (7:00).
