The River Hawk men (2-2, 1-1 in the NE-10) are looking to rebound from Wednesday’s 3-0 loss at Franklin Pierce while the Greyhounds (5-1, 3-0 NE-10) are off to a flying start, buoyed Wednesday by a 4-3 overtime triumph at Southern Connecticut.
Following today’s clash, UMass Lowell hosts No. 8 Southern New Hampshire Wednesday night, then embarks on a five-match road swing before returning home on Oct. 14.
On the women’s side, UMass Lowell (4-2, 4-1 NE-10) looks for its fourth straight win after Wednesday night’s impressive 3-0 victory over Saint Anselm.
The River Hawks have rattled off seven goals in their last three matches and meet a Greyhound team (2-3, 2-2 NE-10) which has won two of its last three: over New Haven (1-0) and Southern Connecticut (2-0), split by a loss to Dowling (2-1).
