Following a 20-day hiatus, the UMass Lowell men's and women's basketball teams return to action this afternoon, the men against Clayton State at the Winter Park Rotary Tangerine Tournament at Rollins College (3:00) and the women vs. Concordia (NY) College at the Yellow Jacket Holiday Classic at American International College (3:30).

The River Hawk men (6-2, 4-2 in the Northeast-10 Conference) are fresh off home victories over Saint Anselm (88-77) Dec. 5 and Franklin Pierce (76-65) on Dec. 8, and bring a streak of seven straight non-conference wins into the Tournament.

The UMass Lowell women (5-3, 3-3 in the NE-10) have won 15 of their last 17 out-of-conference games entering today's clash against Concordia.

Both teams return to action Wednesday as the River Hawk men meet either Shaw (NC) University or Tournament host Rollins College in the consolation/championship (3:00/5:00) while the women face Wilmington (DE) University at 3:30 in the predetermined pairings.
