Sophomore golfer Harry Hulme (Manchester, England) was named UMass Lowell's Northwestern Mutual Athlete of the Week Wednesday after earning medalist honors at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championship Sunday at the Captains Golf Course on Cape Cod.

Hulme shot a three-over par 75 on Sunday along with senior teammate Sylvain Debiais (St. Jean de Monts, France) and Stewart Wise of Franklin Pierce. Hulme won on the second playoff hole

Hulme ousted 171 other players made up of 35 teams.

UMass Lowell men's golf team also took home a share of the team title with Saint Anselm after compiling a score of 311.
