Biography
AS A SENIOR (2014-15): Tied a team season low of 71 at the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Invitational - Ended the Myrtle Beach Shootout in a tie for first place with a 76 - Competed in 10 tournaments over the course of the season - Posted a team-low 73-74-147 to help UMass Lowell place second at the NEIGA Championship - Also shot a 73-75-148 at the Binghamton Fall Invitational and a 77-75-78-230 at the Hartford Hawks Invitational - Maintained a season average of 77.7.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2012-13):Â Division II medalist at the NEIGA Championship with a 75 despite wet and blustery conditions - Led UMass Lowell to its best-ever NEIGA result, a share of the team title - Northeast-10 All-Conference First Team, placed fifth with rounds of 74 and 77 at the NE-10 Championship and led UMass Lowell to runner-up spot - Maintained a team-low average of 76.5, highlighting with a season-low 72 at the American International/Adelphi Classic - NE-10 Golf Athlete of the Week three times - Overcame an injury to post a spring 2013 average of 79.13, peaking with a 74 at the Assumption College Shootout - NE-10 Golf Athlete of the Week once in the spring season - National Student-Athlete Day Award for highest grade point average on the golf team.
AS A FRESHMAN (2011-12):Â Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week once - Fall average of 77.3 peaking with rounds of 71 twice - Also highlighted with rounds of 79-74--153 to help UMass Lowell finish then a best-ever third at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship - Averaged a 79.38 in the spring 2012, peaking with rounds of 74 twice.
BEFORE UMASS LOWELL:Â Attended Manchester Grammar School - Member of Mere Golf Club - 2010 Lancashire Schools Champion.
PERSONAL:Â One of two sons of Martin Hulme of Cheshire, England, and Penelope Hulme of Cheshire, England - Lists Manchester United as favorite team - Influences include Sergio Garcia, Tiger Woods, Wayne Rooney and George Best - Aspires to further golf career as far as possible - Double majoring in economics and finance.
