BOSTON – For the third time this season, the River Hawks have picked up a pair of America East Women's Lacrosse Weekly Awards, as UMass Lowell sophomore Jillian Goldie (Owen Sound, Ontario) was tabbed the Offensive Player of the Week and freshman Madison Carter (Baltimore, Md.) was named the Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.

Goldie had a record setting day in Saturday's 16-12 win over UMBC, tallying nine points to set a new single-game program record. As a part of her nine-point day, the sophomore scored a personal-best six goals alongside three assists, three ground balls and two caused turnovers. The award marks the first of the season for Goldie, and the fifth weekly award of her career after being awarded the Rookie of the Week four times during the 2024 season. For her efforts, Goldie was also tabbed the River Hawk of the Week. The "River Hawk of the Week" is chosen in voting by the UMass Lowell Athletic Communications staff. It honors the top athlete, male or female, based on performance during the previous week of competition.
