The freshman forward played a huge role in Friday night's 5-3 victory at the then ninth-ranked Terriers, scoring the game-winning goal with 8:32 remaining in the third period, before adding an assist on the team's fifth goal to help secure the two-goal victory. In Saturday night's game two, Nemec scored once again for the River Hawks, making it a three-point weekend for the freshman and moving him to five on the year (3g, 2a).
