After a stellar performance at the 2024 America East Outdoor Track & Field Championships this past weekend, senior Rebecca Crosier (Shaftsbury, Vt.) of the UMass Lowell women's track and field team has been tabbed River Hawk of the Week. 

Crosier closed out day one of the weekend in a big way, winning the women's long jump with a personal-best mark of 5.86m (19' 2.75") on the final jump of the day and what could be the final jump of her career. The jump sparked an emotional reaction from Crosier, her teammates and coaches, as it moved her from seventh place to first place and gained 10 points for the team. 

She then went on to show her versatility the next day, hitting the track as part of the 4x100m team and helping them to a fourth-place finish to earn five points towards the team standings. She also competed in the triple jump, reaching 10.93m (35' 10.50") for 11th place.
