After outstanding showings this past weekend at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener and Suffolk Invitational, graduate student Kenzie Doyle (Swansea, Mass.) of the UMass Lowell women's indoor track and field teams has been named America East Track Performer of the Week, as announced by the conference Tuesday.

Doyle had a record-breaking performance in the 5,000m at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, smashing her own UMass Lowell record with a time of 15:27.42 and earning 10th place in a race that included some of the top runners in the nation. This time qualifies Doyle for the 2024 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships and puts her in the top 30 fastest women's indoor 5,000m times in NCAA history. She is now ranked first in the Northeast and the conference in the 5,000m and fourth in the nation. She has also been named River Hawk of the Week for her performance.
