Zuccaro enters her fifth year at UMass Lowell and is currently the Director of Athletic Operations in 2024.
Zuccaro was promoted to Director of Athletic Operations in April 2022. In her current role, she coordinates game and practice schedules for all athletic facilities, assists with facility maintenance, team transportation, and any game or event operations needs. Zuccaro also is the point person for creating and signing visiting team contracts, facility rental agreements, scheduling, and invoices. While at River Hawk contests, Zuccaro manages student employees, as well as the setup and breakdown of the game.
Before her promotion, Zuccaro was the Assistant Director of Athletic Operations from September 2021 to April 2022. She spent her days ordering and organizing equipment and gear for the River Hawks. Zuccaro was also in charge of the laundry services for athletes, overseeing uniform care, athlete laundry regulation, and upkeep of the machines. When not in the office, Zuccaro assisted with game event management and overall facility management.
During June of 2022, Zuccaro served as Onsite Account Manager for the US Open Golf Championship. She managed catering operations at the tournament for open-air seating of over 1500 guests, as well as private tents that had over 500 guests. Zuccaro managed headquarters communications and supervised a service staff of about 60 employees to ensure guests had a positive experience.
From October 2020 to September 2021, Â Zuccaro was a Sales Development Representative for Aqua Security. In this role, she brought in over $300,000 of annual revenue by searching for potential customers through LinkedIn, email, and phone calls.
Zuccaro first started at UMass Lowell in July 2019 as a Facilities and Event Assistant, holding this title until March 2020. Her day-to-day included gameday operations, facilities maintenance, and assisting the Assistant Athletic Director with scheduling, rentals, managing workers, and equipment room organization.
Zuccaro first got her feet wet in athletics while she attended Plymouth State University. She was a student worker for the athletic department from 2016-19. Some of her duties included ticket sales, concession sales, scorekeeper, set up/breakdown, managing facility use, and more.
Zuccaro also had various internships while at Plymouth State, such as interning for the Harwich Mariners.
Zuccaro was a four-year lacrosse player, having the opportunity to captain the squad her senior year.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in sport management with a pre-law minor in 2019 from Plymouth State. Zuccaro went on to earn her master’s degree in management in 2023 from UMass Lowell.
