Lane enters her 7th year at UMass Lowell after joining the Athletic Healthcare staff in July 2016 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. She was named an Associate Athletic Trainer in November 2021 and primarily serves as the certified athletic trainer for the men’s lacrosse and track & field teams.

In addition to her role at UMass Lowell, Lane has served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with USA Lacrosse Women’s Senior National Team for the last 5 years, joining the staff in spring of 2018. During this time, she has traveled across the country to training camps and most notably to USA Headquarters in Baltimore, MD to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide outstanding medical care. The team competed in July 2022 at the World Championships in Towson, MD, where the USA Women’s team won their 9th Gold Medal.

An alumnus of Merrimack College, Lane is an adjunct faculty member and a preceptor for upper-level clinical rotations in the Masters of Athletic Training program at the college.

Prior to arriving to Lowell, Lane served as an assistant athletic trainer at LIU-Post, where her primary sport assignments were men’s lacrosse, swimming, and women’s soccer. She also acted as a preceptor for student trainers and supervised the LIU masters' athletic trainers. Before LIU, she was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with the men's lacrosse program at Johns Hopkins University from 2013-2015, in addition to working with the women's basketball and volleyball teams. Lane earned her master's degree in sports-exercise psychology from Argosy University during the same span.
The Waltham, Mass. native earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2013 from Merrimack College and was also a member of the Warriors' women lacrosse team. Lane was the women’s lacrosse program's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative and senior captain in 2013.
