Personal: Daughter of Elsa Medina and Chienpang Ha … has one brother, Nicolas … Grandmother, C.C. Laura Meng Ha, a Pediatric cardiologist for 50 years ... Grandfather, Hong Chen Ha, Professor at a Chinese Medicine school, contributed to medical sections of encyclopedias in Taiwan … her hobbies include shopping with friends, traveling outside the country and helping out in the community … Her favorite sports team is Philadelphia Eagles … Her greatest influence was her high school track coach …  She says her greatest sports moment “was when I was competing at my rival's school (Haverford High School) and it was also the Haverford invitational. I was aware that my rival had a higher PR than I did in the high jump but I was determined to defend my title as the Haverford Invitational Champion. I ended up beating my rival and continued as the Champion alongside my best friend who threw Javelin” … Chose UMass Lowell because “the school offered my major and other backup options for me that I was interested in. Along with this I also found the track team to be something I wanted to be a part of because the coaches are very helpful and open” … She plans to continue school after my undergraduate work at UMass Lowell and work in the science field … She is half Mexican and half Chinese and speaks Spanish fluently ... She says she’s really good with animals … Majoring in Biology …
