MINNECHAUG REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL: Ran indoor and outdoor track for Matt Griffin at Minnechaug Regional High School • Two-time team Most Valuable Player • All-State selection for indoor and outdoor track • Captained the indoor squad • Broke school record in 55 m dash • Member of Western Massachusetts champion 4 X 100 m relay teams during indoor and outdoor seasons • Also played softball at MRHS • Honor roll student.
PERSONAL: One of two children of Claudia and Frank Convertino of Hampden, Mass • Lists the Boston Red Sox as her favorite professional team and Michael Phelps as her favorite athlete • Majoring in exercise physiology with aspirations to become a strength and conditioning coach for professional athletes.
