Biography

AS A SENIOR (2018): Started 14-of-15 games played ... recorded 129 saves with a career-best .471 save percentage ... and allowed a career-low 145 goals for an 11.92 goals-against average ... collected a program-record 18 saves and 13 ground balls at No. 15 Dartmouth (4.25) ... ranked first on the team with 66 ground balls and 25 caused turnovers ... became the first keeper in program history to record 500 career saves at Iona (3.8), and, later in the season, 600 career saves at Vermont (4.28) ... won three games ... team captain ... named the America East Women's Lacrosse Fans' Choice Player of the Year for the fourth consecutive year.

AS A JUNIOR (2017): Posted 16 starts … recorded career-highs in goals against average (10.73) and wins (7) … boasted a .449 save percentage … collected 129 saves … led the team with 39 ground balls … second in the league in goals against average … third in the league in save percentage, saves per game (8.06) and ground balls … fourth on the squad with 19 caused turnovers … team captain … named America East Women's Lacrosse Fans' Choice Player fo the Year for the third consecutive year ... became the programs’ first America East All-Conference Second Team selection. 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016): Started all 17 games … led nation with 4.47 ground balls per game … sat fourth in the nation with 10.41 saves per game … led the America East in ground balls (76), ground balls per game, and saves (177) … ranked fifth in the conference with a .452 save percentage … paced the squad with 15 caused turnovers … posted a career-high 17 saves against UMBC (4.12) … named America East Women’s Lacrosse Fans’ Choice Player of the Year for second consecutive year … Captain for the 2016 season.

AS A FRESHMAN (2015): Started all 17 games … lead the America East and ranked third in nation with 173 saves and 10.17 saves per game … recorded a team-high 58 ground ball and 25 caused turnovers …3.17 ground balls per game led the conference … made career-high 14 saves twice (2.14 at Massachusetts, 2.25 at Iona) … caused career-high six turnovers at Massachusetts (2.14) … recorded seven ground balls to set career-high at Binghamton (3.29) … named America East Women’s Lacrosse Fans’ Choice Player of the Year … earned America East All-Rookie Team honors. 

HIGH SCHOOL:
Three-year member of the varsity lacrosse team at South Burlington … helped lead her team to three state championships … team captain … named the Most Valuable Defensive Player in 2013 … 2012 Most Improved Player of the Year … two-time All-Conference First Team selection … 2012 All-Conference Honorable Mention … Twin State Game participant … 2014 USA Lacrosse All-American … 2013 Brine Lacrosse All-American … also played four years of varsity ice hockey, two years of field hockey and one year of softball … captain for ice hockey and field hockey … two-time Most Valuable Player for her ice hockey squad … All-Conference Second Team honoree and Academic All-Conference All-Star … 2014 Unsung Hero Award winner … named First-Team All-Conference for field hockey in 2014 after helping to lead her team to the Vermont State Championship … was voted the Most Improved Player in 2013 … member of the National Honor Society.
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Joe Barrett of Colchester, Vt. And Karen Barrett of Burlington, Vt. … has one brother (Christopher) … lists her grandfather as her biggest sports influence … favorite sports teams include the Boston Red Sox and Bruins, and the Pittsburg Steelers … chose UMass Lowell to continue her education while playing lacrosse … majoring in Liberal Arts.
