Kayla Green is entering her second season as an assistant coach for UMass Lowell. Green came to the River Hawks from Southern New Hampshire University where she was an assistant for the 2013-14 season.

At Southern New Hampshire, Green assisted with recruiting, game planning, play calling, sport psychology and team building exercises. She has also the head coach of the Tomahawks Lacrosse Elite Club 2019 girls’ team since 2013. In this role, she coached winter clinics, summer practices and tournaments, in addition to organizing the Tomahawks summer camp and offering individual sessions.

A four-year starter on the women’s lacrosse squad at Stonehill College, Green earned Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-America and Capital One Academic All-America accolades in 2013. She was a two-time IWLCA All-North Region selection, in addition to receiving a pair of Northeast-10 (NE-10) All-Conference nods. Green, who was named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll all four years, helped lead the Skyhawks to two NCAA Division II Tournament appearances. The 2013 team captain and MVP was chosen to participate in the IWLCA Senior North/South All-Star Game following her final season at Stonehill, as well.

Green, a native of Londonderry, N.H., received her bachelor’s degree in communication with a minor in psychology from Stonehill in 2013, graduating magna cum laude with a 3.76 GPA. In April 2015 she earned her master’s degree in sport management and athletic administration at SNHU with a 3.96 GPA
