Ashley Durepo, a former standout at the University of New Hampshire, enters her second season on the sidelines as an assistant coach for the River Hawks.
Durepo comes to Lowell following assistant coaching stints at the University of Southern Maine and New Hampshire as well as Seacoast United, all of which followed a stellar playing career at UNH from 2005-09.
Durepo has been a fixture in the coaching circles since her undergraduate days at UNH, starting with the Lighthouse Lacrosse Camps and Seacoast United Lacrosse Club where she worked with players of all ages, planned tournaments and helped guide high school players with the recruiting process.
From 2009-10, Durepo established Seacoast United’s South Central Maine branch and served as Director of Lacrosse.
Simultaneously, she was an assistant coach at Southern Maine and helped the Huskies to the 2010 Little East Conference Championship.
Durepo moved on to her alma mater in 2012 and had her hand in all roles within the program, including practice planning, academic support, fundraising as well as serving as the co-director of the Wildcats overnight camp.
Durepo was a decorated player at UNH, earning America East Conference All-Rookie Team status as a freshman and Second Team honors her sophomore and junior seasons.
She helped lead the Wildcats to the America East title game in three of four years as well as the NCAA Tournament in 2008. Over the course of her career, UNH went 43-30 overall, including 25-13 her junior and senior years.
A sociology major/business management minor, Durepo was also a model student with a 3.36 cumulative grade point average. She lives in Manchester, N.H.
