HIGH SCHOOL: Played varsity lacrosse at Ashland High School… team captain her senior year… earned TVL All-Star honors sophomore, junior and senior year… also a member of the field hockey team… four-time honor roll student… member of the National Honor Society… her class’s secretary all four years.
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Marc and Christine Poirier of Ashland, M.A. … has a younger brother… nicknamed ‘Soph’… born in Phu Yen, Vietnam… names Patrice Bergeron and Kristin Igoe as her favorite sports figures… favorite sports team is the Boston Bruins… favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy… chose UMass Lowell because of the engineering program and lacrosse… majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering.
