Biography

(1977) - Henry B. (Hank) Brown, after transferring from the University of New Hampshire to Lowell Technological Institute, became one of the most dominant small college basketball players in the nation.

Brown tallied over 1200 points in only two and a half seasons at LTI. During the 1965-66 season, Brown standing only 6[apos]3[quote] led the small colleges in the nation in rebounding by averaging 26.7 caroms per game. That average at the time was the highest in ten years as Brown added to his fantastic season by scoring at a 24.5 rate per game to pace his teammates to a fine 17-2 record. His one game scoring record (48 points) and his one game rebound standard (35 rebounds) still stand as LTI marks.

Upon graduation in 1967, Brown played in the Eastern Basketball League with the Bridgeport Flyers (1967) and for the Hartford Capitals (1968).
